N’Deye Diakhate
N’Deye Diakhate is a design collaborator who loves working with fellow artists and creators on ways we can move towards our collective liberation. A member of Black Womxn Flourish and Balti Gurls, they have experience in co-creating generative spaces ranging from design strategy sessions to film screenings and art exhibitions. They have collaborated on conducting design research with Rising Action Studio, developing engagement tools for researchers at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Currently in collaboration with the Farm-to-Prison Project, N’Deye has co-facilitated design sessions with incarcerated individuals centered around changes they want to see in food on the inside. A graphic designer by trade, they enjoy using typography and writing to unpack ideas about Blackness, Queerness, psychological & political theories.
